The STUDER S242 is a versatile hard-fine machining center for grinding, turning, and milling operations on medium-sized workpieces. It is ideal for complete machining in a single setup – from external and internal grinding to hard turning and drilling/milling with driven tools. With the Studer S242, workpieces in the rotational sector can be finished to very high precision. Thanks to integrated automation, this machine is suitable for both single-part and series production. The S242 is also equipped with a VDI turret featuring driven tools.
