We present our heavy-duty but simple straight knife grinder suitable for a broad range of industrial knives, machine designed especially for:
- different recycling blades,
- chipper knives, (ALBACH, JENZ, BRUKS),
- planer knives,
- guilotine blades,
- shredding knives,
- granulator blades,

The knife sharpening machine model SR Semi-auto can be supplied in different grinding lengths: mm 1.200, mm 1.800, mm 2.100 mm, 2.400 mm, 3.000 mm

TECHNICAL FEATURES IN PRESENTED MODEL GRAFS SR:

• Hand wheel for down feed of the grinding motor,
• Automatic mechanical downfeed system (from 0,003 mm up to 0,03 mm)
• Adjustable grinding parameters during operation (downfeed, number of head passes, spark-out passes).
• Grinding wheel motor angle adjustment within 0–10° (for surface grinding).
• Swiveling electromagnetic chuck / table with ±120° angular scale, “S” type polarity, magnetic force 120 N/cm². Equipped with T-slot channel on the operator side for clamping knives.
• Exchangeable hardened steel guide strips on the machine guides ensuring long service life.
• Manual positioning of the grinding head over the workpiece, (possibility of locking and unlocking carriage driving unit by lever),
• Carriage movement relative to the trolley in the Y-axis, for centre head position relative the different knives angles.
• Quick vertical travel of the grinding motor for faster setup and efficient grinding wheel replacement.
• Reversal of grinding wheel rotation,
• Powerful 7,5 kW grinding wheel motor for wheel sizes Ø175–250 mm. Quiet, vibration-free special grinding head, soft-start included,
• Special wheel holder/adapter mounted on the motor shaft, allowing fast change of any grinding wheel (CBN, DIA, or segmented) using just 3 screws.
• Automatic external magnetic coolant cleaner – MS60.
• Variable carriage speed smoothly adjustable in the range 1–12 m/min.
• Carriage run adjustment knob (potentiometer) for fine control.
• Precision scale for downfeed / grinding motor position measurement.
• Precision scale for blade angle measurement.
• Complete documentation: manuals, operating system, electrical diagrams in English / German / Czech / Spanish, including EU Declaration of Conformity.
• Base of the machine surface finish and protection: polyurethane anti-rust coating with acrylic hardener. Body painted RAL7012 or RAL7035; trolley and carriage RAL7021.
• Adjustable anti-vibration leveling feet.
• LED lamp in working area.
• Very compact electric cabinet at the back of the machine base / body.
• Coolant through the 2 nozzles either side of the grinding wheel,
• Packing, shipment preparation, and truck loading included.
