The horizontal design makes the P 210 L ideal for shaft machining: workpieces up to 830 mm are clamped between the spindle and tailstock, with 300 mm of axial travel and 100 mm of radial travel (center distance 30–130 mm). The milling head pivots by ±40°, and the tangential travel of 160 mm utilizes the full cutter length of 170 mm for long tool life. The high workpiece speed allows for multi-tooth hobbing cutters and thus the cutting performance required in the gearbox and automotive component supply sector. The machine is prepared for connection to a loading portal or a robot.
