The GIF kitchen ventilation ceiling is a complete, wall-to-wall, surface-active solution including large-area exhaust and supply air panels, lighting, and compensation surfaces with an installation height of just 200 mm. The use of the ceiling cavity as a pressure chamber in accordance with
VDI 2052 enables implementation as an "open" or "closed" system, always maintaining the largest possible proportion of air-active surfaces. The large-scale capture of frying, cooking, and other fumes, as well as the large-scale, low-turbulence supply air intake, guarantee a comfortable climate free from condensation and drafts. The unique modular system offers maximum transparency and hygiene thanks to its fully reversible design.

On the supply air side, the GIF active cassette ceiling is used for low-turbulence, large-scale supply air intake according to the stratified flow principle. An energy-efficient solution is thus standard. The special design ensures indirect supply air guidance, even for high air volumes at low inlet velocities, without an induction pulse. Since the active cassettes are identical in the exhaust and supply air areas, they can be interchanged at will.
