A manual or intelligent crowning system is integrated directly into the folding beam to ensure precise and uniform bends along the entire length. Sensors integrated into the folding beam detect its actual deflection during the first 10 degrees of bending, and the system sends commands to the actuators, which adjust the convexity of the beam, thus compensating for beam deflection. The control system stores all parameters for each new bend and uses them for subsequent operations. The bend line is always perfectly straight with the set radius, regardless of the metal thickness, length, ductility, strength, or the height and positioning of segments in the bending zone on the beam.
