Integrated Pick-and-Place System for Industrial Assembly Applications
The DS Place was developed to reduce the high integration effort typically associated with conventional pick-and-place solutions. In many projects, the robot, feeding system, vision system and control unit are sourced separately and then integrated via multiple interfaces. This often results in increased coordination effort and extended commissioning times.
The DS Place is designed as a fully coordinated, integrated system.
System components:
SCARA robot
Camera-based part detection (vision system)
Automatic feeding via material hopper and pick belt
Integrated PLC control system
Functionality:
Parts are automatically fed from the material hopper onto the pick belt, detected by the camera system, and then precisely transferred by the robot onto a discharge conveyor or into a downstream process.

Throughput: up to approx. 1,200 parts per hour
Suitable for metal, rubber, wood and plastic parts
