Biesse Akron 1440 A – single-sided automatic edgebander (2018)
Single-sided automatic edgebander in excellent, near-new condition. Regularly serviced, fully functional and currently in full daily production. Inspection under power / live demonstration possible.
Gluing system – dual EVA + PUR: the machine is equipped with both a polyurethane (PUR) glue roller and an EVA glue roller, each with its own glue pot, plus a PUR pre-melter. This allows the full range of edgebanding work, from standard EVA to high-quality, water- and heat-resistant PUR bonding.
Feed & pressure: automatic coil edge feeder with separate, automatic feeding; pressure-roller conveyor (steel, rubber and edge-pressing rollers) for a clean, consistent glue line.
New touch-screen control panel; rear cleaning brushes replaced; scraper inserts/blades replaced.
Working capacity: panel thickness 8–60 mm · edging material height 14–64 mm · edge thickness 0.4–3 mm (coil) / up to 12 mm (strips) · panel length 100–3200 mm · multi-speed feed 8/12/15/18 m/min.
