Founded in Bielefeld in the early 1990s and operating as a limited liability company (GmbH) since 1996, UNITTOOL has been headquartered in neighbouring Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock since 1998.

UNITTOOL Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH in Schloß Holte-Stukenbrock specializes in the overhaul and modernization of large milling machines and horizontal boring mills from all manufacturers. Since early 2001, Unittool has also been servicing Sielemann grinding machines.

Modernizations of large milling machines from Droop & Rein, Kolb, Heyligenstedt, Waldrich Coburg, and Bohner & Köhle have proven to be highly efficient, as the structural design of these machines allows for high cutting forces, acceleration, and feed rates.
