The D2243 press, with a capacity of 2000 tons, is equipped with a sliding table and designed for high-precision isothermal forging and forming of various materials.

Key capabilities of the press include:
- Sheet stamping and forming processes.
- Isothermal forging of heated billets while maintaining a constant temperature of both the die tooling and the billet, ensuring high quality and uniformity of the products.
- Molding of thermosetting materials in closed, open, and casting molds with complex cycles involving heating, cooling, pressure build-up and release, dwell under load, and ejection of the finished product.
- Molding of powder materials and production of large-sized products from plastics and composites in heated closed molds.
Structural and operational features:
- Working pair — ram and table, equipped with T-slots for mounting additional attachments such as heating plates included with the press.
- Upper console (movable mechanism) with the main working cylinder mounted on it, moving along cylindrical guides.
- Four return cylinders located on the table, ensuring smooth lifting of the ram and its return to the initial position.
- Ejector mounted on the lower console (table) for careful removal of finished products.
- Hydraulic tank and control valve installed on the main cylinder to provide lifting and lowering of the ram.
- Spool valves and pressure regulators controlling the press’s working cycle, installed on the hydraulic power unit with a high-pressure pump.
- Limit switches ensuring the stability of the mechanical braking system of the ram, installed on the frame.
- The press is operated via a remote control panel.
