Cap applicator AK 400 for KEG barrels The cap applicator can be used to fit snap-on caps for triangular fittings or key kegs as well as snap-on caps for flat fittings on drums of different diameters. The caps are first removed from the storage bunker into the sorting drum. bunker into the sorting drum. The caps are conveyed in the correct position into the feed rail with electronic quantity monitoring using air pressure. The drum is centred by a parallel gripper to position the cap. The cap is automatically transferred to the fitting head, positioned on the fitting and fitted.
