The fully hermetic separation system MRPX 810 is designed for the removal of suspended solids with particle sizes from approximately 0.5 to 500 μm from a liquid phase with lower density than the solids. The solids content is typically in the range of 0.1–20 vol.-%. The main applications are bacteria, rDNA products, enzymes, cell cultures, and vaccines. It is also suitable for industrial fermentation processes using microbial cells for the production of acids, chemicals, fuels, etc. Applications requiring low oxygen uptake can also benefit from the hermetic design features of the MRPX 810 separator.
