Agromech M-829

Drum dryer Agromech M-829 with a chip-feeding stoker for the furnace.
The drum dryer is equipped with a coal furnace adapted for burning wood waste or sawdust briquettes.
The entire drying process, as well as the regulation and control of the drying air temperature, is semi-automatic and carried out by the dryer operator.

THE DRYER IS BUILT FROM THE FOLLOWING MAIN COMPONENTS:
* Coal furnace with thermal insulation, adapted for burning sawdust briquettes and wood waste

* Wet sawdust feeder – chain-slat type, pit-installed, smoothly controlled by an electric inverter with a system for smooth dosing of the material to be dried
* Insulated loading connector
* Thermally insulated drying drum, length 9.00 m
* Discharge chamber for dry material
* Main dedusting cyclone with feeder
* Main radial fan
* Electrical control cabinet with temperature measurement and control instrumentation
* Inclined screw conveyor for discharging dry material

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
1. Nominal capacity of the dryer at initial sawdust moisture 40–45% and final 15% – 1,000 kg/h
2. Amount of evaporated water – 1,100 kg/h
3. Maximum thermal power of the solid-fuel furnace – 1,000 kW
4. Maximum temperature of drying air at the drum inlet – 600–650°C
5. Average fuel consumption:
* Hard coal or fuel with similar calorific value: 200 kg/h
* High-calorific sawdust briquettes: 250–300 kg/h
* Wood chips with moisture up to 35%: 250–350 kg/h
6. Total installed electrical power – 17 kW
7. Total weight of the dryer with refractory insulation – 16,500 kg

The dryer was manufactured, assembled, and commissioned in November 2022.
