Salvador was founded 35 years ago in San Vendemiano, in the province of Treviso, right in the heart of one of Europe’s—and the world’s—most important furniture districts, where wood processing and the development of the machinery and technologies required have a rich, longstanding tradition. Established by Giorgio Salvador—who still manages the company today together with his son Christian—Salvador specializes in the production of optimizing saws and crosscut saws for wood.

Strategic decisions and a clear direction—starting in the early 2000s—led to specialization in a specific market segment with a product that soon enabled Salvador to become a recognized industry reference point.

The company has consistently pursued robust, ongoing growth in numerous global markets (today, exports account for 95 percent of production), while maintaining an agile production system strongly rooted in lean manufacturing principles. Human relationships and quality assurance have always formed the foundation of the company’s philosophy.
