The NC joining modules NCFH Type 2151B... consist of a robust housing in which a displacement sensor as an absolute encoder and a piezoelectric push-pull force sensor are integrated. The compressive or tensile forces acting on the sensor generate a proportional electrical charge in the piezoelectric measuring element, which is converted into an analog voltage signal by the integrated charge amplifier.

The drive motor is an electronically commutated AC hollow shaft servo motor controlled by a servo amplifier. Constant speed, i.e. constant traverse speed, is ensured. Standard functions such as joining on block, position and force-controlled joining as well as traversing on intermediate positions are supported.
