Bührs (W+D) BB700 16K inserting system with Müller Apparatebau cut-sheet front end, built 2008. Currently in daily production at our site in Barnstaple, North Devon, UK. Viewing under power available by appointment.

MACHINE DETAILS
- Model: Bührs BB 700 16K, serial no. 200711, built 2008
- Speed: up to 16,000 mailpieces per hour (single page)
- Total mailpieces: 25,932,497 (September 2026). Individual feeder counts available on request.
- Feeders: 8 insert stations (7 x RF2 rotary, plus RF2K friction feeder on station 8) and envelope feeder
- Envelope sizes: C4, C5 and DL
- Integrity: Lake Image Systems camera reading system (v02.06.27) with 4 cameras fitted for full matching: one on the Müller front end, two on insert stations and one on the envelope station. Capacity for up to 8 cameras. Lake camera PC runs Windows XP; standalone operation recommended.
- Software: W+D BSC 3.0 (03_03_24_00), Inserter 03_02_63_00, Bührs IBC controller 2.4.2.0
- Delivery conveyor included
- Power: 400/230 V three-phase + N + PE, 50 Hz, 11.4 kVA total load, 25 A max fuse (BB700 plate rated 5 kW)

CURRENT CONFIGURATION
The line has been modified from the original OEM layout (original June 2011 W+D drawing included in the pictures for reference only):
- One RF2 feeder station added (original: 6 x RF2 + 1 x RF2K)
- Müller front end reconfigured with folders and a C5 accumulator added
- Turnover belt section, MT100 mailtable, distance module and eject gate removed. Output leg now approx. 3.5 m (originally 7.5 m).
- Power and air figures are taken from the original drawing, which included the removed modules, so actual demand is likely to be lower.
Please confirm as-installed dimensions on site before planning installation or transport.

SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
- Annual service by BW Converting, most recently August 2026, including a rebuild of the crossover section
- Accumulator EPROM upgrade fitted January 2026
- Maintained in-house by our own engineering team, with daily safety checks and weekly, monthly and quarterly PMs against documented checklists
- Full CMMS maintenance history available from August 2024
- All manuals available, in physical and digital copies

REMOVAL
Collection only. The buyer is responsible for decommissioning, removal and transport. We do not arrange decommissioning or delivery.
